AKC PupPals Program

Do you know a child who is struggling with an illness, the illness or death of a loved one (human or pet), missing a deployed parent, or who is otherwise struggling through a difficult time? Are you possibly interested in helping others, but unsure where to start?

AKC has a program available to send letters to children going through hard times from a PupPal! A PupPal is a dog of any breed! An owner just needs to provide a photo and fun facts about your dog a child may want to know. Your dog’s photo and fun facts will be shared to the child in a personalized letter. Any child is eligible to be enrolled in the program.
